Mini Motoring Designs
In the past few weeks I have been designing many works of art for past Mini motoring events. I have been sending the designs to GoBadges.com for implementing them into magnetic GO Badges. here some of the designs below.
Since accumulation of these designs have been piling up I decided to create an online store featuring these designs as T-shirts, buttons, stickers, and more.

Eyes of the Under-glow
Yesterday was a big feat for me as I under took a challenge of installing an under-glow kit to my MINI. This was my first real install that involved screws and power tools. It was actually a pretty easy process thanks to my helper and teacher Larry. 90% of the work was done by myself. Here are a few shots of the process.
I also had a chance to do a photo-op with Blaze and their new eye shades.

MINI Slogans
I've recently been trying to come up with some creative & fun slogans related to MINI. I have been jotting them down on any piece of paper I can find so I don't forget them. But I think the list is getting long enough I should have a Slogan list on my blog. These Slogans will most likely be ending up on my mini at some point in the form of bumper stickers, or decals.
THE SLOGAN LIST
"MOTOR ON"
"MINI ON & Let's MINI"
"TWIST & MOTOR"
"SEEKING SWITCHBACKS"
"ZIG ZAG MOTORING"
"Let's Motor"
"Coast the Curves"
"ROCKET-FUELLED GO-KART"
"YES I'M A MINIAC"
"USE THE SPORT LUKE"
"HAIRPIN PRO"

A Classic Dream
For the past few months I have been researching classic minis. I am quite interested in obtaining a classic car to add along side my daily driver (2010 Mini Cooper S). I think it would only be fitting to purchase another MINI. I have never owned a classic car and think that I would be able to obtain a classic car quicker if I started out small and cheap. Classic MINI coopers are very cheap depending on the condition and the use of them by their previous owners. I've been researching what all is involved in the classic mini coopers. Engines, Interiors, and just the over all Styles and features.
I went online and have been looking at photos and came across, what I believe to be one of my dream cars. A classic MINI Cooper in Matte Black. This one seems to be from France. It's not for sale, but its definitely the kind of quality and look I want in a classic car.

This thing looks bloody brilliant. Now not all classic minis looks this good. I did some fine tuning in photoshop to see what it would look like with some design features and graphics. Wow I think I'm in love! This Classic MINI transformed right before my eyes into a beautiful, Kick ass piece of machinery. I think this is the classic I have been look for. I hope to continue the search for the mighty new classic mini and hope to save up enough cash to one day purchase one. I'll be looking for an Automatic transmission which narrows the search field a bit, but hopefully one day I'll have it in a garage of my own.

Mini Cooper USB
I recently purchased an 8 GB USB Flash Drive That looks like a Classic Mini cooper.
I tend to use this as a replacement for holding My Mini's receipts and important documents like when I get an oil change I would scan the document receipt and save it to the MINI USB and then plop it in my glove box.

The Checkered Flag
I received in the mail my brand new JCW Checkered flag floor mats. these things are a great addition to the interior of my Mini. It really opens up the cockpit and with the splash of white.
Status Update:
I recently took my MINI into the dealership to get a maintenance checkup. I wanted to get MINION ready for the HMMS Waco drive event this Saturday.
The mechanics looked the car over and found that my front tires were bald and that i needed to replace them ASAP. I was not planning on paying for anything extra for the car so as you could imagine I was pretty shocked and disappointed that i had to fork over $600 for a pair new front tires. They added Continental run flats to the front.
I also had wanted to get an alignment and tire rotation. Since they added the new tires they skipped the tire rotation, but went ahead with the alignment. They also did an oil change and replaced my rear brakes. I am so glad for the 100,000 mile scheduled maintenance plan because i only had to pay for the tires and alignment everything else was free!
Stay tuned for Updates with my interior and also the upcoming HMMS event "The Waco Run"
